Executive Team - Scott L. Peterich

President/Chief Strategic Officer

Mr. Peterich has over 35 years of experience in the agricultural and horticultural industries. He has served in numerous capacities of sales, marketing and management during his career. He identified the introduction of high-tech software and hardware components into agriculture and horticulture markets and in 1996 formed Peterich Consulting, Inc. He received a contract with Emerge, a subsidiary of WSI, Andover, MA to market their high resolution near-infrared remote sensing product into the Florida agricultural and horticultural markets. In 1999 he founded Integrated GIS, Inc. and began the process of assembling select technical professionals that would be formed into a team that develop fully integrated business solutions utilizing off-the-shelf software and hardware components. His knowledge of the inner workings of agricultural and horticultural businesses allows him to guide the Technical Team to economically develop and integrate technology solutions that are customized for each client.

In addition to the daily operational management responsibilities of Integrated GIS, Inc., Mr. Peterich serves as Chief Strategic Officer for all developed Business Solutions created by the Technical Team insuring that all of the client’s expectations and needs are met. He is also directing the global commercialization of the recently developed Citrus Management Solution.

In 2006 he accepted a consulting position with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumers Services, Florida Forest Service as a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist. This position conducts programs that educate the public in the prevention of wildfires in the wildland urban interface areas of Florida. He also serves as the Public Information Officer for the Florida Forest Service in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties conducting television, print and radio briefings and interviews for wildfire prevention education and major wildfire events. His knowledge of both the private and public sectors led to his involvement with the Florida Domestic Security Task Force that is part of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He is currently a member of the AgroTerrorism Sub-Committee.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA and also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
